A SPHERE Project
The Understanding Other Disciplines (UOD) Project by SPHERE is a collective initiative to learn the terminology, practices, norms, expectations of other disciplines, so we can use inclusive language and create inclusive programming when serving postdocs.
Within the initiative framework, the UOD Project brings professional development to the SPHERE community meetings and creates resources aimed at identifying the differences between disciplines. The ultimate goal is to ensure inclusive cross-disciplinary training and translatable terminology.
